Search engines and sharing
In Settings → SEO & System files, under Default SEO Settings: Title Suffix — your brand after every page title (“About | My Brand”); Search Engine Visibility — switch it off to ask search engines not to index the site; Google Analytics ID — paste your GA4 measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX), the tracking code is added for you. Below, a card of its own — Extra files, closed until you press Open the editor — holds robots.txt, ads.txt, security.txt and the files for mobile apps. It is for the experienced: a mistake there can hide the site from search.
A title and description for search engines are set where the thing itself lives: a page's in the Search engines (SEO) block of its form (open the gear, Page Settings), a record's or an area's in its own form (Meta title, Meta description), one per language. An empty description is better than a generic one — the search engine builds a snippet from the page. AI Assistant can write them for you.
Done for you once the site is published: /sitemap.xml, /llms.txt — a short map of your site for AI assistants — and a preview card with the page's title, description and picture whenever someone shares a link.
